Happy New Year!!!
These lovely 18k yellow & sapphire earrings match Pantone's 2014 Color of the Year, "Radiant Orchid" |
We hope you had a wonderful holiday season, surrounded by those you love! November and December kept us busy, traveling around the country doing trunk shows with our retailers, so we haven't had much time to update the blog. Now we're back in the office ready to rock the new year!
As you may know, Pantone recently announced "Radiant Orchid" as the 2014 Color of the Year. We love this purpley-pink hue, it looks good on just about anyone! Gwendolyn Covington, a style editor for zappos.com, reinforced our belief saying, “Radiant Orchid is a refreshingly exuberant
color that is perfect for almost any season. It's a rich hue with hints of warm and cool notes so, it looks good on most women by
accenting fairer skin tones and for darker skin tones it works as a
highlight and gives these women an amazing glow." Perhaps even more than the wearability of the color, we love the psychology behind Pantone's choice: “An invitation to innovation, Radiant Orchid
encourages expanded creativity and originality…inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love, and health.” according to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director at
Pantone. So, here's to a creative, healthy, joyful new year!!!
