Byron & Tracey with Nicole RichieThursday night I went to the opening of my girlfriend (and Übercool haircolorist-to-the-stars) Tracey Cunningham's (and her new partner Byron Williams') fabulous salon! Hosted by Rachel Zoe, the party was packed with tons of people, and of course there were lots of celebrities too (like Nicole Richie, Rose McGowan, Tori Spelling and Lisa Rinna, to name a few)... but to me, the real celebrity is Tracey herself! Tracey is one of the sweetest, most down to earth girls that you'll ever meet! Besides being an amazing colorist, she makes everyone feel important and special, no matter what your celebrity status. She truly is the Real Deal in a city where it seems almost nothing is real! I am so happy for her that she has her own place!!

Happy New Year Everyone!
I know we're all looking forward to the potential that a new year holds. But even with all the ups and downs, I can happily say that '08 was a great year!
It started off with a bang when Pamela Froman was named one of the “Best New Designers of 2008” by industry peers in an InDesign Magazine feature article! 2008 also saw the launch of Pamela’s innovative “Ombre Crush” collection, which buyers and editors especially loved for the beautifully subtle combination of warm 18k Yellow Gold with peachy-toned Pink Gold! Pamela's celebrity fan base continued to grow in '08... we were especially excited to see the gorgeous Halle Berry wearing Pamela's "Crushed Hoops" all over town! And we're still reeling from the honor of Pamela winning the prestigious Town & Country Couture Design Award, the “Oscar” of the fine jewelry industry!
2009 is shaping up to be another eventful year: Pamela will be presented with a Consumer’s Choice Award at the fabulous 25th Annual Spectrum Awards Gala this coming February, and she has also been nominated for Fashion Group International’s 2009 Rising Star Award!
All the Best in the New Year!
