Opals, especially boulder opals, still play a major role in her designs, framed in 18-karat crushed yellow, white and pink gold, and accented with tanzanite and Paraiba. Froman’s pieces offer a bold and distinguished look, easily carried over from day to night.
From the new Boulder Crush line, the one-of-a-kind Hera’s Crush pendant in 18-karat yellow crushed gold with an 18.03-carat Australian boulder opal framed by two rows of pavé-set paraiba tourmaline ($20,900) and an 18-karat pink and yellow crushed-gold ring with an Australian boulder opal and diamond pavé ($7,480)
Froman also showcased some of her new bridal pieces at Couture, including the Warm Wedding bridal suite, the Pastel Wedding set and the Rustic Wedding pieces.
The Warm Wedding bridal suite (left) has outer eternity bands in 18-karat pink and yellow crushed gold set with diamonds ($3,190 each) while the solitaire ring features a 1.72-carat fancy brownish-yellow cushion-cut modified brilliant diamond surrounded by pavé diamonds and diamonds on the band (price upon request). The outer bands of the Rustic Wedding stack are 18-karat yellow crushed gold with chocolate rhodium and 18-karat white crushed gold with charcoal rhodium with diamonds ($2,090 each), while the 18-karat crushed-white gold solitaire ring has a 1.03-carat gray diamond surrounded by diamond pavé ($5,280).
